Easy Trekking with Family

Thanks to the ingenious system of pedal assistance, this special bike means we can tour many of the hilltop villages in Chianti, without too much sweat, a reat treat! The full ride distance: 35 km Positive cumulative altitude difference: 700 m  Trail details: In an industrial world spoiled by urbanization, Chianti represents an exception; here the primitive understanding between man and nature remains intact while perfect preservation of the architectural heritage remains of paramount importance. This trail includes in fact the visit of one of the most stunning spots of the whole area, Montefioralle, a castle whose origins go back to the 12th Century… And this is only part of an extraordinary ride! We will be able to reach Castellinuzza (511 meters above sea-level), Lamole (596 m. a.s.l.) and Panzano (507 m. a.s.l.), three enchanting villages where we will break while enjoying the views. This itinerary will take place partly on a paved road and partly on a white road, giving the bikers the opportunity to appreciate also the wilderness of the environs that characterize this special part of Chianti. Almost at the end of the route we will be able to stop in an organic farm to taste wine and other typical products. Note: This bike trail requires a bit of experience and knowledge about cycling - no specific body training is required. The price for a full day ride includes e-bike, helmet, an English-speaking guide and drinking water.

Chianti Treasure: Terracotta, Wine, Olive Oil tour

A great tour discovering the crafts of our beautiful land. Since the Roman time wine was contained in pottery vases called ‘orcio’ made of terracotta, our typical material used also by Brunelleschi in his construction of the Duomo. This tour gives the possibility to visit tipical terracotta furnace and a great winery, in order to try the new combo wine and terracotta. During the day you will learn the different characteristics of wine and olive oil, you will get to know how distinguish the acidity, the taste, and flavour pairing with food. This glorious trail will give you the chance to get acquainted with the history of wine and the secret of how to keep long-lasting traditions alive. After the visit the tour will end in a family-run farm with olive oil tasting and typical Tuscan meal. Pic Nic & Bike in Chianti

Electric Bike Tour Experience with Chianti Classico wine tasting & Cheese Tasting

Chianti Great Dynasties Tour with lunch and Excursion in Siena

Our region in fact, with its hills, woods, lakes, rivers and seas, is a heaven as an Italian El Dorado. Many are the places to visit in Tuscany, but the famous district of the wine is surely on top of the list. Its olive trees, cypresses and vineyards, which some of them produce the wine more appreciated in the world, are an attraction that in the last years it has taken importance more and more. The search of the peace and the calm is the purpose to visit this great region, with hills extended for around 20 km between Florence and Siena. EnjoyChianti knows deeply the peculiarities of our territory and it has structured an experience to know the history of this magic area and to visit all the best wineries. The wine cellars that we will visit will be the most important one, where still the Chianti Classico, the top one of the Italian wines, is produced respecting the traditions of the aristocratic dynasties of the XIV century. Chianti Classico is a DOCG wine and shows unique peculiarities and characteristics. The Classico wine has to respect specific rules. Its blend is 80% of Sangiovese, the red grape typical of this area, 20% of other grapes which include native grapes such as Canaiolo and Colorino, as well as other international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Legend has it that in 13th century Florence and Siena decided to use a horse race to end their land dispute over Chianti. The meeting point of two knights, who had left respectively from Florence and Siena when the rooster sang at dawn, would mark the new borders of their territories. The Florentines selected a black rooster and kept it for a few days in a box with no food. On the day of the race, when they took the rooster out of the box, he sang much earlier than dawn. The Florentine knight left before the Senese rider, meeting him only him only 20 km from Siena walls. Since then the black rooster has been the symbol of Chianti. You’ll visit the Pasta Museum at Strada in Chianti and you know how during centuries pasta has been made. The tour goes on inside the pasta laboratory with its machines and skilled production. After the tour you can taste, in a typical shop, ham and salami, served with a glass of Chianti wine. Easy Trekking with Family

The itinerary, as well as the price, may change depending on the needs/age of children and weather conditions. This trail was designed to allow children to walk in nature, relax in the silence of the forest and watch some animals, such as goats, cows, birds, amphibians, geese, horses and donkeys. The entire itinerary is on a dirt road, 8 km from the town of Greve in Chianti. During the excursion the children will be invited to use their five senses to recognize trees and animals as the guides will also provide some educational material for recognition of the various species. Note: Children must wear appropriate clothing: boots or hiking shoes, waterproof jacket and a hat.
